Gas solenoid valves are devices used to control the flow of gas through a system. They consist of a solenoid coil and a plunger mechanism that opens or closes the valve. When an electrical current is applied to the solenoid coil, it generates a magnetic field that attracts the plunger, causing it to move and open the valve. When the electrical current is removed, the magnetic field dissipates, and the plunger returns to its original position, closing the valve.
